What the fee includes
- Medical history and safety screening
- Examination of both ears
- Microsuction, irrigation or gentle instrumentation as appropriate
- Aftercare advice
- A free repeat within 14 days if wax was too hard to finish and you had used drops
Payment and cancellation
Card or cash at the appointment. We do not take a deposit for standard clinic slots. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you cannot come, so the slot can go to someone else.
Private medical insurance sometimes covers wax removal only when it is part of an ENT investigation, not as a routine clean. Check with your insurer before claiming — most routine appointments are self-pay.
We are not an NHS provider and cannot take an NHS prescription or exemption as payment.
